2025 has arrived, bringing with it a world more complex and unpredictable than ever. Geopolitical tensions ripple across global economies, inflationary pressures test financial stability, and rapid technological disruption reshapes industries at an unprecedented pace. Adding to this uncertainty is the re-election of Donald Trump as U.S. president, amplifying unpredictability in global markets and policy directions.

In this changing landscape, a fundamental global shift is becoming increasingly clear: resources are limited, and access to opportunities is narrowing.

Economic protectionism has gained momentum as nations and organisations prioritise self-preservation, restricting access to critical resources such as food, water, materials, and jobs. Business consolidation has driven monopolistic practices, concentrating opportunities among a select few dominant players. In finance, an oversupply of liquidity has created fierce competition for high-quality investments, leaving most investors chasing diminishing opportunities.

For those with privileged access to key resources, this trend has proven immensely rewarding. The wealthy continue to grow wealthier, while access to top opportunities becomes increasingly exclusive. In the early days, one of our pivotal achievements was launching our flagship fund, CPS-Master. More than two decades later—and despite the introduction of its mirror fund, CP Global Alpha—demand for CPS-Master remains unwavering.

The sense of belonging many of our clients attached to the fund was unmistakable. It was more than just returns; it reflected the appreciation and trust they had in what we do.

Today, the name CPS-Master carries weight—a testament to the value it represents to those we serve.

Managing a smaller fund like CPS-Master in its early days required agility and a willingness to challenge conventional approaches. As it grew to hundreds of millions in assets, we faced new challenges more common to larger funds. Balancing flexibility with scalable systems became key to its success and a defining trait of CP Global’s growth.

At every stage, we focused on understanding the intricacies of market problems and applying our knowledge to develop forward-thinking solutions. These solutions are designed to stay ahead of the curve, often challenging conventional practices.

But the world didn’t stand still, and neither did we.

In the 2000s, as globalisation expanded markets and client needs grew more sophisticated, we broadened our scope to include global macro hedge funds and offshore wealth solutions. These innovations required us to think beyond the conventional but were necessary to stay ahead of a rapidly evolving market.

Behind every decision, there was hard work, quiet dedication, and a commitment to ensuring that our clients could rely on us, no matter the challenge.

The truth is, if it weren’t for my private clients, I wouldn’t have come this far. But the road ahead demands that CP Global remain strong enough to lead—so that we can continue to place your interests at the forefront.

From managing $10 million in assets in our early days to overseeing $1.2 billion today, our growth is a testament not just to our resilience but to the role our clients have played in shaping our success.
